Door Maintenance Programs and Inspection Services

In order to exceed our customers’ expectations and provide the best service in the industry, At Push to Open Doors we offer offer a Preventive Maintenance Program (PMP) for Automated Doors to help you stay ahead of the curve. Experience has shown that periodic proactive maintenance and careful inspection of your facility’s doors can reduce both downtime and repair expenses while extending the useful life and operating efficiency of your doors.

PMP is offered for automatic swing and sliding doors, revolving doors, speed lanes, turnstiles, and manual doors. We recommend two inspections per year for these products, typically conducted in the spring and fall.

What does the PMP include?

Your PMP will be completed by one of our experienced technicians, all of whom are certified American Association of Automatic Door Manufacturers (AAADM) inspectors. ADA will perform a thorough ProActive Maintenance service that includes the following:

• Check, adjust, lubricate and tighten components, belts, gears, pivots, glass and guide rails

• Calibrate sensors per ANSI standards

• Check and adjust opening and closing speeds per ANSI standards

• Perform AAADM safety inspection

• Educate facilities team on daily safety checks listed on “Safety Information” sticker

In addition, ADA provides a documented assessment that the doors and sensors were inspected, repaired and upgraded per the safety requirements of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

Our PMP program provides documentation of your intent to ensure the safety of your doors in the event of an accident. While the documentation does not prevent any litigation in the event of an accident, it does help show your intent to insure safe operation of the automated opening.
